Before I came across this course I was looking for schools in Nepal where I could attend a 2-3 day introduction to singing bowls. Nothing I found really convinced me. I wasn't sure about online courses either, but after a while I came across the Bells of Bliss website and this Sound Bath Certification training, and I immediately knew that it was the right thing to sign up for. Rather than a trip to Nepal to some school I know nothing about, likely offering superficial (at best) sound healing lessons, this course gave me the real ground to learn what sound really is, and to little by little get an understanding of how to build up a sound bath.
The course covers important topics not addressed in other schools, such as the physics of sound, music theory, neurophysiology, in a way that is accessible to all levels. It also debunks woo-woo dogmas and beliefs running amok in the sound healing industry, without ever denying the sacred aspect of sound.
When I started this course I didn't even have one singing bowl, I just felt that I wanted to learn. A few weeks into it I was able to successfully conduct both private and group sound bath. This is also thanks to the instructor, who is always available to answer any question or concern and to discuss any topic, which is very helpful. Guy is a servant of sound in all aspects, and by that he truly is a master. I am forever grateful.
